Astrid walked into the library, book bag slung over her shoulder and hair still damp from the shower. She immediately headed towards the non-fiction books and sat down at a table, unloading her books and papers. Someone behind he coughed, and Astrid spun around. "Hello?" she asked, heading in the direction the sound came from.

Kento looked up from his book when a girl called out. He was just clearing his throat, he hadn't meant to get her attention. He hesitated for a moments, thinking of a witty remark automatically."Nobody said anything. I think you're hearing things."He had to admit, that was the worst remark he had ever come up with, so he'd have to try harder. |

Astrid looked at the boy behind the bookshelf. "Obviously, we are the only ones here, and you're talking to me now." She could tell this boy had a cocky attitude. "Are you new?"

Kento shrugged, leaning back in his chair with a smug smile."Not really. You?" He asked casually, glancing down at the open book on the table. He looked up at the girl once more, his leafy green eyes shining. |

"No. I've been here for 5 years.I've never seen you before." she told him, pulling a book off the shelf. "What's your name?" Astrid tucked a piece of her hair under her cap where it had fallen from, her eyes sparkling like ice. She would try to be nice, but this kid seemed to always try and pull pranks, like Kronos.

Kento couldn't help a laugh. He leaned further back in the chair, sliding the book to the side and landing his feet on the table."5 years? Well lemme tell you something sweetheart, I've been here for 11 years." Kento smiled, truly hoping he got under her skin. |

"First off, don't call me 'sweetheart unless you want to loose an important appendage. And I'm sorry. I haven't seen you around until now." Astrid told him sarcastically. She rolled her eyes and sat down across the table from him. Opening her book, she noticed him get up, and she hoped he would leave. It wasn't until he sat down in the chair next to her that she groaned and closed her eyes, putting her head in her hands. "What else do you want? You don't seem like the kind who reads in their free time." Asteid said.
