It was just going into the afternoon. The sun was out and warming up the air for the time being, but every now and then clouds would move to cover it up. Kids and teachers alike could be seen moving around outside since it was Saturday weekend, everyone seemed pretty content with the day, and almost happy. Everyone, that is, except for Fang.
"Owch, watch it buddy" Some sort of government soldier or whatever gave Fang a rough shove through the gate. 'Man you'd think they could just wave you on through like any normal person.' he thought, already disliking his new home. This was Fang's first day coming to Oidasu Academy. They'd just gave him enough time to pack up a few things then shipped him out to this place as soon as possible. He didn't have much though, a few changes of cloths and a picture of his Mother when she was only 16 smiling down lovingly at her new baby boy all fit inside one bag slung across his shoulder.
Taking a few glances around, Fang hoped that his time here wouldn't be too terrible. He'd had a lot of time thinking about on the way over here and he figured that he didn't want to live in the little apartment anyway, too many fresh memories. Perhaps here he could just start over. Of course, he'd never forget his mother, or forgive the man that basically caused her death by leaving them, but at least here he wouldn't constantly be reminded of that.
There was a little problem though, Fang wasn't exactly sure what to do now that he'd made it through the front gate. The soldier had already left without a word of instruction. Unsure of where everything was, he just sort of hung out by the Main Gate, hoping someone would have noticed his entrance and tell him where he was suppose to go soon. Like all Vampires Fang seriously had a thing against the sun for the simple fact that it was extremely annoying to his sensitive night vision and could give him one helluva burn if he stayed out over an hour. He'd already spent ten horrible minutes in it just walking in the gate.

Kento noticed the boy lingering near the gates. "Just who I've been lookin' for." He smiled, walking towards him with an umbrella slung over his shoulder. "Name's Kento Hart. I'll be showin' ya around this not-so-fine establishment." He grinned his devious smile, tossing Fang the umbrella. "Figured you could spare the burns on your first day." Kento crossed his arms, waiting for the vampire boy to answer. (I thought they could be close buddies. )

Fang looked over as he heard footsteps heading in his general direction. Turning he saw one of the students making his way toward him with an umbrella and a friendly smile. This was probably either another vampire or his tour guide so Fang met the kid half-way. "Just who I've been lookin' for. Name's Kento Hart. I'll be showin' ya around this not-so-fine establishment"
Fang was grateful and all as he caught the umbrella, losing some irritation toward the sun, but didn't return the Kento boy's grin. "Thanks allot." was all he said, he was such a chatterbox right? He wondered why he hadn't thought to bring the umbrella, but regretted the known answer in his head as soon as he thought that, 'because you wanted out of there as soon as possible.' Keeping a blank face to Kento, Fang took one more step forward and glanced up at the taller boy, "Common, lets get this over with." It wasn't that he was actually eager to get away from the kid, he seemed nice enough, he just wanted to move to get his mind off of recent events.
"So tell me what it's like living here?"
(You can try, but Fang's not the friendlies of people x3)

Kento raised an eyebrow at the boys attitude, then turned back to the campus and started walking."Hey, I'm not some irritating tour guide. They just sent me here since I've lived here the longest." He smiled back at Fang."I could explain every way to get around absents, tardies, etc. If you like." He turned back, stopping in front of the doors to the main school building."This is the actually school part, where you learn all that boring crap."

"The longest one here huh? Well don't I feel special." Sarcasm, one of Fang's personal specialties. He didn't really want to start making enemies on his first day though so he went on to ask, "How long you been here for?" It wasn't that he was interested or anything, truly he couldn't care less, it was just a question most people expected when they told you something about themselves. Sometimes it was annoying to talk to people, sometimes they only gave just enough information that you'd have to ask for the other half. Probably the best conversation he'd ever had had been one word long. A drunk girl was sitting in the alley he used to go from school to home, saw him, said 'hey' in greeting then passed out. Of course he wasn't about to pass up an easy meal and drank some of her blood, but it was a great conversation.
The guy smiled back at him again, and just to make an attempt to be friendly Fang smirked back. Nothing huge or anything, just a twitch of the lips, but it was the most he had ever managed all day between his mother's death and being forced into this place. Taking in the sights it seemed like there were dorms for the boys and girls, some kind of store, a pond off in the distance, and the school itself where they were coming up on.
"Boring huh?" Back to his original blank face Fang took a step back when Kento suddenly stopped in front of the doors. "Well all schools are like that what can you do?" he shrugged seemingly unfazed about the prison. "I'll find out about the school Monday, could you tell me what all you guys do around here for fun... um.. please?" Another subtle, yet friendly gesture by him. It'd been a long day for Fang and all he wanted was to go off alone somewhere and unleash his bottled up rage on some innocent tree or something, but for now he'd go along with this Kento guy. Who knew, maybe the tour could take his mind off of things.

Kento rubbed his hands together tentatively."You know, I don't think you really need to see everything." He looked back at the pale boy."So, from 11 years of experience, how would you like to have some fun?" Kento smirked, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

'Eleven years huh?' Fang didn't really think he'd survive trapped in a place like this for eleven whole years, he'd probably take every chance he'd have to try and get out after only one. He was glad though when Kento mentioned that he wouldn't actually have to see everything. "Yeah sure, whatever." not the most exciting response, but a typical one for Fang. On the outside, seemingly uninterested, inside though he was curious to see what kind of fun things could be had on a campus.
"Oh, um, can we eat first? Haven't had anything all day." Fang was pretty hungry since he hadn't eaten since coming back from the hospital, but it was sort of a double edged question. The guy obviously knew he was a vampire since he brought the umbrella, so Fang was subtly asking how the school would handle his blood lust. Sure, he probably could have just come right out and asked directly, but thought that might sound as if he were about to just bite Kento right here and now.

"Ah, don't worry about that." Kento fanned a hand in the air dismissively."They're keeping blood bags in the infirmary just for you." Kento pushed open the grand doors, leading Fang through the winding halls."Y'know, you aren't very exciting." Kento commented openly, glancing back at him."What exactly happened before you got sent here?"

'ugh, blood bags.' Fang had snuck into a hospital once and drank from a blood bag just to see if he didn't actually need to hunt down other humans... it was like drinking soda after it sits in the sun. Same exact texture and feel going down, but utterly disgusting he was sooo not looking forward to drinking the stuff again. He wondered if maybe he could bite one of the students, like if he had a roommate or something, but quickly pushed the thought aside. Not because he thought it was wrong or anything, just because his bite would leave marks they would probably link back to them, darn those 'fang' marks.
Snorting at his own little pun Fang rolled his eyes at the comment about him not being very exciting. It might be a big shocker, but surprisingly allot of people told him that when they'd first meet. Actually everyone but his mom had told him that, probably because he was himself around her, that wouldn't happen again though, love and friendship was only good for setting yourself up for hurt later.
When Kento asked about what happened before he got sent here, Fang instantly clammed up. "What kind of question is that!?" he snapped cruelly, the memory too fresh and too many people around. Fang feared that he'd just break down and cry like some sissy boy if he thought about the reason he was sent. She'd just been so young, just in her 30's just.. Shaking his head roughly Fang smothered the thoughts and glared at the person responsible for bringing them on, his piercing red eyes practically throwing daggers. "I don't have to tell you, why don't you just show me to my dorm so I can go to sleep, it's freaken bright out here."

Kento raised his eyebrows."Touchy." He felt a little angry, since Fang shouldn't be so snappy about it. Kento accidentally killed his own parents for heaven's sake, so Fang shouldn't be whining! "Whatever. Just go until you see the door that says boys dorm. Your's should have your name on it." Kento didn't bother to say bye, simply stuck his hands in his pockets and strode away.
