Overall Appearance: James, for starters, is a seriously handsome guy. It makes sense, since he's a merman, but still. He has sharp, green-amber eyes that remind you of ocean stones, and a tall, lean build. He is definitely stronger than he looks, which throws many people off. His hair is shaggy and black, but not long enough to cover his eyes. James does need glasses, but he makes them 'cute'.Mother: Elizabeth Lauwer (Maiden name Farrer)

History: James had been a merman for his entire life. He was born in the sea, he grew up in the sea, etc. Even though he had a luxurious life, he wanted nothing more than to try a human life. (Kinda like Ariel. XD) His wish was granted, and he developed legs instead of a tail. However, if he got wet, they would immediately turn back into a tail. He spent multiple years living on land when he made the mistake of going swimming with a few friends.
The authorities of Oidasu were contacted immediately, and James was dragged to the academy. Since he was too old by then to be a student, he was enrolled as a teacher. He actually grew to enjoy his job, and worked here for 5 years until he became the Vice Principal. He still enjoys his job, though he may hide it at times.

Overall Personality: James is a fairly well balanced guy. He has a bit of personality in every corner, though they truly excel in wits and sports. Of course, he can only do swimming since other sports make him sweat and grow a tail on dry land. He is usually soft-spoken and listens very carefully, and many find it easy to explain their problems to him.
James also thinks through everything, and never acts rashly. This is a quality he always attempts to teach the students at Oidasu, although a lot of the time it doesn't work. He dislikes anything too dry, so tries to make sure the school is at moist temperatures. He is also extremely against any meat from the ocean, for many of them were friends of his.
