A folded note had been placed into each of the raid members' lockers, the writing was in an elegant script and read:
The sun had just dipped below the horizon, casting everything into the shadow of darkness. It was strange how quickly things went from a beautiful sunset to an unknowing darkness.
Thinking of where to gather everyone up had been a bit of a challenge. It had to have been a place where teachers weren't known to wander often, big enough to hold a fair amount of people,some that might like their space, and have hiding places in case things went wrong and they needed a place to lie low. The girls' dorm seemed perfect. Most of the ladies were willing to hide the other raid members should things fall apart, the dorm itself was designed to hold allot of people, and unlike the guys the girls weren't as rambunctious for lack of a better word. It had been a bit hard to convince them the male part of the raid would behave if they had to be hidden, he'd had to promise if any harm came to the girls that he'd personally take care of it. Not something he wanted to do, but necessary.
At the moment Viren himself was off to the side in a corner in the common room. His wings weren't currently visible since they were drawn in. Following his own advice he'd decked out in full black, only his skin and piercing blue eyes a contrast to the darkness. Unfortunately he'd had to cut slits in his favorite long sleeved shirt for the occasion but it would be worth it. He'd come quite early to make sure he was the first to arrive and could see how the other members would get along with one another. Hopefully things would fall into place: everyone would get along splendidly, they'd get in, get out, and celebrate the easy victory with no trouble what so ever.... Yeah, if only it could be that easy...
Good morning, afternoon, evening, or whatever time of day it is. Try not to look to conspicuous, black attire is probably for the best. I'm sure the Girls' dorm won't be a problem for some of you but guys, I will shove your face into dirt if you try something funny there.
